The Films & Technical Textiles department
is the fruit of FILCLAIR’s takeover of COMPAX, a company formerly
established in the north of France. In three years, many objectives
have been achieved, on one hand to improve the manufacturing plant
and on the other in terms of technical innovations. This has made
it possible not only to increase production significantly but also
to improve quality and, as a consequence, to facilitate the installation
of covers on the structures, thereby allowing appreciable time savings
when covering and uncovering.
The films and technical textiles are now
produced on site in various widths to the desired length, then packed
in such a way as to facilitate installation on the structure or
the gables. The integration of this department, which now manages
more than 500 references, allows rapid response to requests for
any item: as a general rule within 48 hours, but reduced to 24 hours
or less in the event of an emergency.
