Airbar™ system: Inflation at the touch of a button!
The inflatable double wall has always been a major source of concern. Up until now, the user was responsible for assessing whether inflation pressure in the double wall was distributed correctly, with potential errors of judgement risking disastrous consequences for the film and the greenhouse!
One turbine is required for 2000m2 of greenhouse surface area and one
inflation timer per greenhouse. Regardless of surface area, a
greenhouse contained only one timer, which activated for 15 seconds
every minute to re-inflate the double wall. However, there was no way
to monitor the actual pressure in the wall. If a bird or other element
pierced the film, it was impossible to re-establish constant,
sustainable pressure in the pierced double wall.
With the new patented Airbar™ system from Filclair, pressure problems in inflatable double walls are over.
The system uses a pressure switch on EACH inflation turbine which
measures atmospheric pressure and internal pressure in the double wall.
Through continuous analysis, any pressure anomaly is immediately
rectified according to its extent.
Via the autonomous function in each turbine, Airbar™ eliminates the need to manually ensure the film is tight.
Precision monitoring, via the pressure switch on each inflation turbine
of the greenhouse, is used to limit loss of tension in the film
subsequent to bird-related or other incidents.
Concerns related to over/under-inflating the wall are now a thing of
the past: the Airbar™ system is the ideal solution for every user.
